Barney Walsh is the new host of ITV’s rebooted Gladiators alongside his famous father Bradley Walsh – here’s everything you need to know about the budding actor’s life, from his famous ex to his rarely-seen mum.

Bradley Walsh is a well-known face on TV, famous for hosting popular shows like The Chase and the BBC’s new version of Blankety Blank. Now his son, Barney Walsh, is making a name for himself in the world of television.
Barney, who is Bradley and his wife Donna Derby’s only child, has shown his talent as the new host of the rebooted show Gladiator, alongside his famous dad. He studied performing arts at the respected Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Barney started his journey to fame with small roles in popular TV series like Doctors, Death in Paradise, and Law and Order: UK.
People might also recognise him from his recent role as Cameron Mickelthwaite in the BBC drama Casualty. In spring 2023, Barney joined the cast as the clumsy nurse Cameron, who found it hard to get used to the busy emergency department, reports OK!.
Apart from TV, Barney has also appeared in movies, including King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. The actor is no newbie to the world of presenting as he’s been a presenter and ambassador for the prestigious Miss World pageant since October 2017.

Barney likes to keep his personal life under wraps, but his relationship with Miss World 2016 Stephanie Del Valle Diaz has caught the eye of fans and the media.
They reportedly met at a Miss World competition in 2017 and their love story has been marked by occasional public outings and shared moments on social media.
In 2019, they made a rare public appearance together at the BAFTA TV Awards, where they walked the red carpet with Barney’s proud parents, Bradley and Donna.

Fast forward to 2022, Stephanie posted a lovely picture of herself and Barney against a beautiful sunset in Portugal. She captioned the photo: “Happy Three Kings Day with a beautiful sunset in Portugal or as we say in Spanish, ‘Happy Tricking Day'”.
A source told The Sun in 2022 that the couple started off as friends. “They get on really well and know they’re both young in their careers so give each other space to pursue their dreams.”
Stephanie has a following of 86,400 on Instagram, where she keeps her followers updated about her travels and modelling work.
In 2016, she earned the title of the second Puerto Rican Miss World. However, apart from her career in fashion and beauty pageants, she pursued Law and Communication at Pace University in New York.
Unlike Barney and his dad Bradley, his mum Donna tends to stay away from the limelight, but she has regularly appeared alongside the father and son duo at events and on the red carpet.
