At Bill’s house, Poppy checked the time as Luna and RJ entered. RJ encouraged Poppy to join them at Eric’s, but she preferred to wait for Bill. RJ asked where Bill was, and Poppy revealed that he was with Katie, trying to mask her joy. Luna saw through it and reassured her mother not to worry. After RJ and Luna left, Poppy anxiously checked her watch again, wondering why Bill wasn’t home yet.
In the design office, Katie insisted she wasn’t insecure; she was processing Bill having a daughter with Poppy, who gave her bad vibes. Bill assured Katie that he believed reuniting their family was the best option, despite his past mistakes. Katie saw a strong, compassionate man in Bill, and he acknowledged that Katie had helped him grow. With tears in his eyes, Bill called Katie the love of his life and apologized for sending mixed messages, but assured her he’d always love her. Katie concluded that he had moved on with Luna and Poppy, but Bill emphasized that he cherished their memories.
Meanwhile, Paris was furious in Eric’s office because Hope made a move on her fiancรฉ, Thomas. Hope expressed concern for Paris and Thomas, believing things were moving too quickly. Paris, however, stood firm, stating that she and Thomas had formed a deep connection. She warned Hope to stay away, emphasizing that Thomas was now committed to her.
At Eric’s house, Carter, Eric, and Donna congratulated Thomas on his engagement. During the 4th of July celebrations, Ridge and Brooke arrived, and Thomas searched for Paris. When he found her, they shared a tender moment. However, Hope saw them kiss, which caused her visible discomfort. Eric interrupted to toast to Thomas and Paris, who expressed their love and excitement for their future together.
As the celebration continued, Thomas asked if they could get married at Eric’s house, and Eric happily agreed. Confetti rained down as the couple kissed, but Hope retreated, overwhelmed by the sight.
