Congratulations are most definitely in order for General Hospital‘s Kate Mansi (Kristina) who celebrated the 4th of July with more than just fireworks! The actress shared a photo on her Instagram stories showing off a gorgeous emerald cut diamond ring with just the caption “LGM(atty).” Confused? Well, Let’s Get Married works perfectly as an acronym, especially when Mansi’s husband to be is named Matt McInnis!

And in case that didn’t get folks’ attention, she went on to share brand new fiance McInnis’ Instagram post on America’s birthday of the two of them celebrating out in gorgeous nature, writing, “Apparently today is a holiday, but I think July 3rd was even better.”
That, it seems, is the day Mansi said yes, and judging by the smile on her face in the photo below, it was probably one of the easiest decisions of her life. Or, as Port Charles sis Kristen Vaganos (Molly) put it, “The best news to ever hit the internet!!”

Mansi and McInnis have been together for some time, and though the actress mostly keeps the relationship private on social media, the two have clearly been having the time of their lives, living, loving and traveling. Back in February, McInnis shared photos from what looked like a picture perfect ski getaway (complete with their adorable pup, Stanley) and last August Mansi posted pics from their safari!The photos themselves are gorgeous enough, but it also seemed to be the first time that TV mom Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) saw Mansi’s beau, because as she dropped in the comments, “Omg, I had no idea my future son-in-law was so handsome.”
We definitely can’t argue with that, but we also couldn’t help but be distracted by those gorgeous animal photos!
Congratulations to Mansi and McInnis who, we can already tell by Vaganos and Grahn is going to be happily adopted into the General Hospital family!
