One life was lost, one life is in jeopardy, and one life is being contemplated on the August 5, 2024 episode of General Hospital.

Mourning Mothers

While everyone held vigil at the hospital, when Kristina (Kate Mansi) got out of the emergency C-section, she woke up asking for “her” baby. That was when the doctor broke the news that they couldn’t save the baby girl.

Kristina asked for Molly (Kristen Vaganos), needing to be the one to tell her sister, while everyone else got the devastating news. TJ (Tahj Bellow) immediately jumped to blaming Kristina, while Molly tore into Sonny (Maurice Benard), suggesting that it was his fault Kristina was in Ava’s (Maura West) hotel room (check out some behind the scenes of filming the infamous fall). But everything took an even worse turn when Kristina lost consciousness and the monitors began beeping rapidly while Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) called for help.

Meanwhile, Ava continued to get questioned by Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), Chase (Josh Swickard), and Anna (Finola Hughes), but when the news of the baby’s death – and possibly Kristina’s – travels to the PCPD, she may be looking at murder charges.

Fallen Father

Kristina’s life isn’t the only one in jeopardy. After Molly lashed out at him and blamed him for her daughter’s death, Sonny went up to the roof of GH and began thinking back on his recent encounters with his loved ones. He remembered Dante saying he’s done with him, Kristina being afraid of him, and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) saying she hates him as he looked down at the busy street below him.

Between spoilers for the week revealing Sonny will get a visit from a loved one and the video preview for August 6, 2024 teasing Sonny saying, “You’re not here, you’re just in my imagination,” it’s easy to assume the loved one in question is Morgan (Bryan Craig). Craig will return as Morgan for only one episode, and hopefully that’s all Sonny needs not to do anything drastic.

TJ and Molly trusted Kristina to carry their child through surrogacy. She promised that she’d be a careful and mindful surrogate throughout the duration of her pregnancy.

Still, the baby’s biological father TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) wasn’t convinced. Even Kristina’s sister Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) had her doubts about her sister.

Furthemore, Kristina was difficult for Molly and TJ because of her connection to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Molly’s half sister has a mobster for a father- and not just any mobster.

In fact, Sonny is quite the King Pin in Port Charles. The dangerous nature of his business life is what had TJ and Molly rattled. As it turns out, their fears were justified.

Will Kristina Corinthos Die?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Sonny’s guilt leaves him with a heavy heart. As GH recaps recall, Sonny reflected on the recent times when those close to him called him out for being a threat.

Their words seemed to resonate as he replayed the conversations in his head. Molly really laid into him, which triggered his memory of those who came before her to place the blame.

But, is Sonny really responsible for all of these calamitous outcomes?

According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, losing the baby devastates loved ones. Molly and TJ out their thoughts about Kristina’s recent behavior aside as they hope and pray that she pulls through.

Sadly, they’ve already lost their baby. Losing Kristina could push any one of her family members over the edge. Especially Sonny.
