There is a lot that can change in Salem, but there is one thing that can never change, reveal Days of Our Lives Spoilers, and that is the significance that Stefano DiMera holds. It has been years since his passing, yet there is no character that can come even close to the aura he had or the popularity he enjoyed. Thus, it comes as no surprise that even in his absence his portrait in the DiMera Mansion continues to garner so much limelight.

Currently, the DOOL spotlight is shining bright on Not-Abigail and her return arc on the soap. Even that limelight, she is sharing with Stefano DiMera. Those who have been tuning into the sudser regularly must have noticed that every time not- Abby walks into the living room, she can’t help but hold a monologue with Stefano’s portrait.

Initially, it felt as though the soap was just tipping its hat to the soap legend once again. However, now it feels a lot more than that. Going by the number of conversations Fabby (fake Abby) has had with the portrait, we can’t help but wonder if there is more to the story than meets the eye.

Is it possible that Fabby is somehow connected to Stefano DiMera? Did she know him from before? She certainly can’t be his long-lost daughter, since she is pretending to be Chad’s wife and might even end up getting intimate with him or at least sharing a kiss. Or if not Chad, then with EJ or Stefan, since she already jokes about being “the family sl*t”.

However, it is possible that she is back in Salem for revenge. She certainly has a plan and a partner in crime. Could it be possible that Stefano wronged her mother or her father, or destroyed her family when she was a little girl? We cannot put such things past Stefano! There has never been a more formidable villain on Days than him!
