In recent spoilers for General Hospital, we see the aftermath of Jason allowing everyone to believe he was dead. Sam visits Carly’s office to discuss the matter. Carly tries to make it about herself, but Sam emphasizes that Jason’s disappearance impacted everyone who loved him, including Liz, Jake, and others.

Carly plays a recorded meeting of the five families where she assumed control of Sonny’s empire. Shocked, Carly learns from Sam that Spinelli obtained this recording from the FBI, despite the high security of the meeting. In another part of Port Charles, Jason and Anna clash over their next move against Valentine. Jason, having sacrificed two and a half years to protect Carly, is determined to convince the FBI of Valentine’s guilt.
