Season 12, Episode 9, “Something About Her”, combines several storylines as Severide, Kidd and Van Meter delve into a burned-out recording studio while James assigns Kylie to keep a secret from Sheriff Boden.

The latest Chicago Fire chapter also introduces a tenacious new paramedic in town.

Katelynn Shennett is part of the cast of Chicago Fire Season 12 as Kylie Estevez, a firefighter assigned to Firehouse 51 and one of the first recruits from the show Girls on Fire.

In Episode 9, Kylie bonds with James as she helps familiarize him with the ins and outs of Firehouse 51. She also assists him in promoting his first salary so he can get some money as soon as possible.

Chicago Fire is Shennett’s only major acting credit.
Hanako Greensmith takes on the role of Violet Mikami in Season 12, Episode 9.

After being promoted to medical officer, it is revealed that Violet is struggling to find a suitable replacement for her old position at the fire station.

Violet meets new recruit Rosie Novak but is shocked to learn about her tumultuous past.

Jocelyn Hudon is one of the new faces in Chicago Fire Season 12. The actress plays a paramedic named Rosie Novak.

Novak has a complicated backstory. Before joining the team at Firehouse 51, she slept with her married instructor, immediately complicating matters. However, the attractive yet tenacious paramedic is still ready to make a name for herself at Firehouse 51.

In fact, on their first mission, Novak impressed Violet Mikami, the medical officer in charge.

Hudon’s most recognizable role is playing Abby in The Strain. The actress also appeared in Pixels, Crime Minds and The Irrational.
Miranda Rae Mayo plays Lieutenant Stella Kidd of Firehouse 51.

Stella is happy to hear that Kylie (from Truck 46) will be working with the team on missions in the near future. She also helps Severide track down a rapper named Antoine Kennedy, who may be responsible for the recording studio fire.

Mayo has credits in Pretty Little Liars, True Detective and Blood & Oil.
