Chicago Fire announces start date for season 13 production (and it's soon!)

There will be a lot to explore in season 13, and we’re excited to announce that production on the next season will begin this summer. Chicago Fire, like most shows, was affected by the Hollywood strike and subsequently had to delay the release of season 12. There was a staggering 8 month gap between seasons, which felt like an eternity. end.
Luckily, we won’t have to wait long for season 13. According to Screen Magazine, the show will begin production again on July 19. This will be the second of the One Chicago titles to shoot New seasons, like Chicago PD will begin two days earlier and Chicago Med will begin at the end of the month, on July 29.

The sooner the better as far as we’re concerned. This start date means Chicago Fire and the rest of the series will air in the usual September slot, a far cry from the nearly year we had to wait last time. Fire showrunner Andrea Newman talked about season 13 and other issues the show still hasn’t resolved in a recent interview with CinemaBlend.
The showrunner admitted that she and the writers made mutual decisions when they filmed the season 12 finale, but part of the fun for them was piecing together the next chapter throughout the season:

“We have the general plans and then you start to get into a difficult position when you’re focused again for the season and we always know – especially when there are spoilers – we want those guys How to land?

The summer production also means production stills and teaser posts from the cast and crew, so Fire fans are in for a treat!
