Casualty first-look sparks frenzy in three-words as fans wait for show return

As fans eagerly await the return of Casualty, the show sparked a frenzy by posting a cryptic message to social media.

Casualty has sparked a frenzy among fans by posting an image and three words that had viewers scrambling to social media.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, the show posted a picture of the characters Jacob Masters (played by Charles Venn) and Teddy Gowan (Milo Clarke) in their ambulance.

They captioned the post: “’3006 to control…’ Three words we can’t wait to hear! #Casualty.”

Fans rushed to the comments section to share their excitement about the show’s return, with @djstormo commenting: “Can’t wait for it to be back on. Saturday nights haven’t been the same.” (sic)

@IBeetson quipped: “No 3 words are “back on Saturday.” (sic)

A user with the handle @cas10882000 was missing their favourite character writing: “Gimme some Dylan.”

@Charlie29565026 said: “I am looking forward to having back on Saturday on BBC 1 when is it back.” (sic)

@Louiseraven2 simply wanted to know, “When’s it back on? @BBCCasualty,” as @GameplayVideos8 also enquired: “When will the next episode air?” (sic)

“When is it back? We miss it!” @shinebritediam1 pleaded as @RachelHolbz echoed: “Omg hurry up!! When’s it back?”

Meanwhile, @AH4rdyn argued: “Come back soon and BBC cut down on the quiz shows.”

Although they didn’t respond to fans in the thread, it appears they don’t have long to wait as Casualty producer Jon Sen promised that the soap, which has been off screens since September 16, will be back “later this year”.

With only eight Saturdays left until the end of the year that means its return is imminent.

Express.co.uk has contacted representatives of the show for comment.

This comes after Charles Venn also teased fans telling them that the show will be back “very soon”.

He shared some behind-the-scenes snaps with co-stars Milo Clarke (Teddy Gowan) and Diane Botcher (Jan Jenning) on social media and captioned the image: “Had too much fun today with this mob.”

This led a fan to enquire when the show will be back on screens and although he didn’t give them an exact date, the former Strictly Come Dancing contestant reassured them “very soon”.
