Casualty viewers were left stunned as Connie Beauchamp actress Amanda Mealing showed off her transformation on This Morning.

The star appeared on the show on Tuesday after the Holby City crossover, but some fans didn’t even recognise her after she unveiled her new hairdo.

Connie is always super glamorous, as is the actress who plays her, and has always had brunette locks.

But on the show on Tuesday, Amanda showed off her stunning new light coloured hair which was a shade of grey.

Surprised viewers took to Twitter to praise her “beautiful” new look, with one fan saying: “Just put #ThisMorning on and I did not recognise her off Casualty (Connie). She looks so different!”

It comes after host Phillip Schofield was left seriously surprised with her reason for not agreeing to sign up to Dancing On Ice.

The presenter hosts the ice skating series on ITV with Holly Willoughby, and it came to an end last weekend.

Since then, Phillip has been asking several guests whether they could take part in the next series following James Argent claiming he was the first confirmed contestant for 2020.

But Phillip was left stunned on Tuesday by the answer he got from actress Amanda when he asked her if she’d take part.

Amanda admitted she could already ice skate, suggesting she probably wouldn’t be allowed to take part.

She told him: “I used to be an ice skater. Point 5 off a mark of being a junior champion. No, it wouldn’t be fair would it.”

Assuming she couldn’t skate, Phil was left with a shocked impression on his face as he said: “Oh, scrub Strictly. We have things to talk about,” before being rejected.

This Morning airs weekdays and Sundays at 10:30am on ITV.
