The 12th season saw the exit of more cast members. One of those was right at the start, while another was right at the end. Yes, we lost Gallo, Brett, and Boden throughout the season.

We did end up gaining some new characters, as well. One of those holds a secret that is connected to another member of Firehouse 51. You’ll certainly want to play catch up with the DVD release.

Chicago Fire Season 12 DVD release date

The official release date for Chicago Fire Season 12 on DVD is Tuesday, Aug. 27. It’s worth noting that like the last few seasons, this is only getting a DVD release and not a Blu-ray. It also won’t include any bonus features. NBC has focused on just releasing just episodes of its shows on DVDs to encourage people to remain with Peacock, it’s streaming platform.

You can pre-order the Chicago Fire Season 12 DVD on Amazon. This is a great way to land the price guarantee, and to get a date guarantee. When you order with Amazon Prime, you’ll get it right away, so you can start your rewatch immediately. After all, Season 13 will arrive toward the end of September.

Can’t wait for the DVD release date? That’s okay! You can already buy all the episodes on Digital. This is a great way to cut the costs if you do like to watch on the go. Cut out the Peacock subscription and watch the episodes as often as you want for as long as you have your free Amazon account.
