Drew walked into the Quartermaine kitchen where Sasha was, having just fetched some coffee. Sasha, reminiscing about a kiss she witnessed the night before, brushed it off and praised Drew for his motivational speech, which he noted had gone surprisingly well. She mentioned that the previous night had been full of surprises. Willow entered but paused upon seeing Drew. After getting Willow some coffee, Sasha made an excuse to visit Cody at the stables. Willow, seeking honesty, told Drew that their kiss was inappropriate as she loved Michael. Drew agreed it had been impulsive and suggested they not dwell on it, believing it would eventually seem insignificant. Willow excused herself when Michael arrived, who then discussed his concern for Willow with Drew, noting her restless night. Drew suggested she was just wound up from the party, and Michael decided not to worry, feeling reassured.

Meanwhile, at the stables, Sasha called out for Cody, who emerged from the back. She wanted to share what she had seen, but Cody revealed he had told Mac he was his son, explaining Mac’s angry reaction. Sasha, proud but worried, asked what Cody planned to do. Cody, despite Maxie’s plea to stay, expressed his urge to leave town whenever he got close to forming the bond he wanted. Sasha begged him to stay, kissing him and making him promise to inform her if he ever decided to leave.

Later, Willow arrived at the stables to find Sasha gone. She and Cody discussed the previous night’s fireworks and Drew’s campaign, agreeing it would benefit from Quartermaine support. Cody emphasized the importance of family support, and Willow shared how the Quartermaines, especially Michael, had been that for her.

At Maxie’s, Felicia and Maxie talked about Cody and Mac. Felicia questioned Cody’s motives, and when Sasha arrived, she admitted to helping Cody by switching his DNA sample with her hair, giving him more time to bond with Mac. Felicia acknowledged Sasha’s honesty and noted Mac would need time to rebuild trust. Maxie joked about their shared stubbornness, asking her mom what their next steps should be.

Meanwhile, Sonny thanked Carly for bringing Ava over to play with Donna and wondered if Donna could stay over now that Ava had moved out. Their conversation was interrupted by Jason, who informed Carly about the impending custody dispute with Ava. Carly vowed to fight back if necessary, and Jason assured Sonny he was working with Jon to protect Carly, despite Sonny’s increasing erratic behavior. Carly, worried about her own potential jail time, was reassured by Jason’s promise to protect her.

Ava, at the Metro Court, met with Scott, who informed her of Sonny’s sole custody pursuit. Ava’s bold move came when she confronted the pharmacist about tampering with Sonny’s medication, demanding he reduce it to a placebo. The pharmacist reluctantly agreed, fearing Sonny’s reaction.

Back in her room, Ava was confronted by Sonny, who recorded their argument, threatening to use it against her in court. Their heated exchange was interrupted by John, who stepped in, questioning if there was an issue. The tension was palpable as they prepared for the custody battle ahead.
