Chicago Fire is Dick Wolf’s successful firefighter drama that ran for 12 seasons on NBC. The latest season of the procedural returned on January 17 after production was delayed due to now-resolved strikes in Hollywood. According to TV Line, season 12 has attracted an average of more than 9 million weekly viewers, becoming the most-watched entertainment program on all NBC stations and the third-ranked drama on broadcast television.

Part 12 of the routine is an action-packed one. Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) and Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) get married, the Firehouse 51 crew welcomes a new firefighter, Derrick Gibson (Rome Flynn), Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) and Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) still stay. resolves the obstacles in their relationship amid Severide’s absence.
The final episode of Chicago Fire, Season 12, Episode 6, “Port in the Storm,” featured Brett and Casey’s anticipated wedding and the beloved Paramedic’s farewell. Killmer told Deadline that filming her final episode was “bittersweet, but definitely more sweet than bitter.” She added that her favorite one of her final moments as Brett was “a huge party that helped make it a great farewell.”
Before the farewell episode, Killmer told TV Line that she felt like her time with Sylvie was over and that she was excited to see what other projects were going on there. “It certainly humbles and aspires me to play the role of first responder for such a long time. I couldn’t be happier to be in this story space, working with real firefighters and paramedics for so long,” the actress explained.
