Chicago Fire Fans Finally Agreed on One Character They Hate the Most: Guess Who?

After all this time? Always.

There is something extremely beautiful about the shows with an ensemble cast. When picking favorites, there are so many people to choose from that every watching session turns into a quest.

The most powerful effect always comes from those who triggered you enough to remember them even when they’re gone. This is the case with Chicago Fire: the show is ending its season 12 right now, but here we have redditors still screaming about how they hate a particular character that left 6 seasons ago.

Chicago Fire’s Most Hated Character

Well, the person we are talking about is none other than Gabriela Dawson, first known as a paramedic on Ambulance 61. Since season 1 she was one of the main characters of the series, and by the way, you might remember that it was Gabby who was Matthew Casey’s wife.

Over six seasons she managed to pull a lot of nerves, and it seems like fans are still not ready to forgive her for all the many selfish acts she pulled off over the years. She was always unfair to Casey, creating a lot of drama literally out of nowhere and being abusive.

She was extremely rude to people and she couldn’t stand it when somebody said she was wrong on any occasion. But there was a particular moment when her arc just jumped the shark, and fans remember it really well.

“I started to dislike her when she and her ego blamed Shay for that guy killing himself in front of them. Then the utter bullsh*t with Louie. Casey had JUST asked Gabby if she wanted to take things to the next level. Gabby said she likes things just the way they are. She convinces Matt to run for Alderman and he wins. Then she has the nerve to want to foster Louie and gets pissed at Matt for saying “Hey….we got too much going on here,” Redditor Hank_Scorpio_MD said.

We think the Gabby haters breathed a sigh of relief when the writers had her move to Puerto Rico to help people there, but it seems that as long as the audience remembers that she even existed on the show, the hatred will continue.
