Alexis Davis offers Laura Collins her professional opinion on Heather Weber’s case, acknowledging that predicting the outcome is impossible. Alexis warns that Heather might walk free, causing Laura great concern despite not supporting Heather’s release. The cobalt poisoning may have influenced Heather’s actions, leaving Laura in a moral dilemma.

Meanwhile, Trina Robinson visits Laura with a mission, ready to explain her reasons despite Laura’s assumptions. Molly Lansing-Davis leaves a voicemail for Alexis about Kristina Corinthos-Davis. TJ Ashford overhears and learns that Sonny Corinthos attacked Dex Heller, leaving Kristina distraught. A heated argument ensues over the surrogacy plan, with Molly insisting they can’t approach Kristina for fear of exacerbating the situation.

Molly wants a biological connection to the child, but TJ feels the risks outweigh the benefits. Molly fears Kristina might try to keep the baby herself since she is the egg donor. TJ reluctantly agrees, and after a tense exchange, Molly leaves for work, breaking down in tears over the situation.

In another plotline, Tucker McCall discusses Alan Lauren’s twin and Ashley Abbott’s dissociative identity disorder diagnosis with Audra Charles. Despite Ashley’s condition, Tucker is determined to move on and prove his love for Audra. He resigns as CEO, hoping Audra will take over the business. However, Audra reveals she persuaded the board to accept a buyout bid, planning to take control herself.

Jason Morgan’s loyalty to Sonny is also tested. Carly Spencer worries about Jason’s safety after a warehouse ambush, suspecting his FBI informant position might be the cause. Jason insists on Sonny’s innocence, despite lingering doubts about their friendship’s future.

Valentin Cassadine’s involvement with the Pikeman group forces him to consider leaving Port Charles quickly. His majority stake in ELQ and collaboration with Pikeman make him a significant threat. Tracy Quartermaine might strike a deal with Valentin to regain control of ELQ, even if it means risking legal consequences.
