What’s coming up in the Emergency Department?

Next week on Casualty, Tariq’s past is revealed, while Jacob is concerned about Blake, and Siobhan is devastated by Rich.

Here’s a round-up of all the biggest stories coming up in the next episode of the current series, ‘Storm Damage’.

1. Tariq confronts his past

Having treated a patient successfully, Tariq asks Siobhan for a character reference for his upcoming trauma course.

But Siobhan turns him down, as he hasn’t been at Holby for long enough, and she suggests that he asks his former supervisor in Australia, which leaves him unsure.

Rash finds out from Ngozi that Tariq only got onto the trauma course because Nicole pulled out, and then overhears a conversation between Tariq and Stevie.

2. Jacob looks after Blake

Jacob sits with Blake as they stay at Jan’s, and he’s reluctant to see Carter.

He later takes his son to the Emergency Department to get his injured hand treated, where Jacob tells Faith that Blake might be withdrawing from drugs.

But when the test comes back negative, Jacob realises that Blake may have schizophrenia like his mother.

3. Stevie confronts Rich

Siobhan is in a bad mood following the breakdown of her marriage, and Stevie notices. Siobhan invites her for a drink after work and Stevie panics, declining the offer.

Rich later arrives at the ED with an injured colleague, and Stevie tells him to leave her alone.

4. Rash is furious

Rash tells Tariq that he phoned the hospital in Australia and found out it was rumoured that Tariq was sleeping with his patients.

Having recently found out about Tariq’s relationship with Yasmin, Rash insists that he pull out of the trauma course.

After a huge row with his cousin, Tariq goes round to Yasmin’s flat, where things soon go very wrong…

5. Siobhan is heartbroken

While Rich is at the hospital, Siobhan decides to speak to him, but their conversation is awkward.

Siobhan orders him to leave and is devastated, while Stevie watches on, feeling guilty about the situation.

6. Cam tells the truth

After Jodie and Rida decide to move out of their house, Cam returns to his dad’s, where he opens up about Jamie – but later, a revelation leaves him shocked.

7. Dylan and Sophia team up

BBC

Dylan and Sophia have recently found common ground, and they team up for a pub quiz run by Faith which brings them closer together.

Casualty airs on Saturday nights on BBC One and now streams first on BBC iPlayer, where episodes are released at 6am on the day of transmission.
