7 huge Casualty spoilers for next week

What’s coming up in the ED?

Next week on Casualty, Dylan has a disastrous day as he tries to mentor Rash, while Teddy has a traumatic experience and Ngozi gets big news.

Here’s a full collection of the biggest moments coming up:

1. Rash’s nerves get the better of him

Rash is thrown when his patient has an epileptic fit amid treatment.

Even though he reacts quickly, Rash can’t hide his nerves, prompting Dylan to take over.

2. Patrick confronts Dylan

When a leak in the ceiling becomes a problem, the team are forced to decamp to Resus 1.

There, Patrick confronts Dylan over what happened earlier with Rash.

Patrick explains that he has noticed that Rash is being undermined and calls Dylan out on it. He then suggests Dylan be a mentor as Rash does his CESR training.

Dylan apologises to Rash and offers to be his mentor, which he gratefully accepts.

3. Teddy has a traumatic experience

Iain and Teddy get called to a hen party gone wrong, where Hayley and a fellow bunch of boisterous bridesmaids run rings around them.

After walking the bride – who has broken her foot – to the ambulance later on, Teddy is thrown when Hayley and the hens get in and shut the door.

Later Teddy, who’s clearly distracted, emerges from the ambulance and asks Ian if he can go home.

4. Dylan’s day turns into a disaster

Rash gets an opportunity to shine, but Dylan has concerns about his proposed course of treatment.

Once again, Patrick isn’t impressed by this and doesn’t think Dylan is doing enough to boost Rash’s confidence.

Things quickly deteriorate when Rash and Dylan’s patient struggles to breathe and is unable to be resuscitated.

When the results come through, Dylan realises that death could have been prevented if he’d listened to Rash all along.

Rash is keen to learn something from this experience, but Dylan puts all the blame onto himself.

5. Ngozi gets good news

Ngozi is thrilled to have saved enough money to see her son Obi but is downbeat after dealing with a difficult patient with scurvy.

When Ngozi snaps under the pressure of everything, Nicole takes her away from the situation and they have a heart-to-heart.

Ngozi sadly explains to Nicole that her son isn’t allowed to stay at her place when he arrives.

6. Teddy rejects Jodie

Despite his request to go off shift, Teddy is forced to take bride Jenna to hospital to have her foot treated.

Iain picks up on Teddy’s distant behaviour and asks him if he’s okay, but Teddy shrugs him off and distracts himself.

When Jodie approaches him at the end of the shift, Teddy coldly cancels their plans and tells Iain that he doesn’t plan to see her anymore.

7. Nicole makes Ngozi a big offer

Keen to help Ngozi, Nicole offers up her place for Obi to stay instead.

Ngozi is initially hesitant but later comes around to the idea – their bond strengthened.
