6 huge Casualty spoilers for next week

What’s coming up in the ED?

Next week on Casualty, Teddy makes a nervous return to paramedic duties, while Iain’s heroics put him in danger, and Stevie and Siobhan are at loggerheads.

Here’s a round-up of the biggest moments coming up:

1. Teddy returns to work

Teddy arrives for his first shift back at work after being suspended for the last two months for assaulting a patient.

Staff shortages mean Teddy must do his shift alone and he admits he is nervous, so Iain offers to work extra hours, even though he has just finished a full shift himself.

On a callout, Iain is supportive and encourages Teddy to a procedure on a patient, but his nerves after time away means he makes a mistake.

2. Siobhan and Stevie clash

The impact of the storm means that the ED is overrun with patients, with the diminished team sleeping in the call room as they work overtime.

Siobhan is struggling in her new role as Clinical Lead, and she clashes with Stevie over hiring agency staff, as the pressure builds.

Meanwhile, Stevie receives texts from Rich, after their first meeting, and she is conflicted about what to do.

3. Iain puts himself in danger

On the same callout, a girl attracts the attention of Iain and Teddy, and explains that her dad is trapped in a car that is sinking under water.

Taking immediate action, Iain dives into the water to try and help the man escape, putting himself in grave danger in the process.

4. Dylan and Sophia team up

Dylan and Sophia work well together, and the team notice a change in his demeanour, though Dylan remains awkward.

Is Dylan catching feelings?

Faith is worried about the dangerous reality of Iain’s job following his heroic actions.

She talks to him about her worries, and asks Iain to consider the impact on her children, as he becomes part of the family.

But more danger is just around the corner…

6. Cam gets an offer

Cam is upset following the events of the previous day, having been put on restricted duties by Siobhan, who is still being hard on him.

Jodie, Rida and Cam’s house gets flooded, and the nurses must find alternative living arrangements for the next few weeks.

While the others quickly make plans, Cam is left alone, though he later gets offered a place to stay – but by who?

Casualty airs on Saturday nights on BBC One and now streams first on BBC iPlayer, where episodes are released at 6am on the day of transmission.
